Blot, Blot, Blot,... Papers?

So your oily and you need a quick fix throughout your day before you reapply your make up. You don't always have time to fully remove and redo all your makeup, while going halfway just doesn't feel right. Well have you heard of blotting papers. They are a great tool for exactly these situations, because they will actually absorb your oil in seconds anywhere and not remove your make-up =O

What!?!?! That's right!

I've only every used Lise Watier's Blotting Papers when they came along with a cover up powder I used once. They worked awesome during a long shifts, sports or summer time activities. This isn't the package I had but here is what you would be looking for if your interested in trying them out...

Lise Watier Blotting Papers.

These bad boys will run yeah around $8.50 for 30 sheets at your local Shoppers Drug Mart. Which really is a great price point and you really must appreciate Lise Watier's packaging.

But are there any alternatives to this product? As with almost everything, you've guessed it, yes there is! Simple as Simple gets these little papers of are composed of almost the exact same paper as Zig-Zag Tobacco Rolling Papers are made of..... Thus you have your alternative!!

Extra thin, for me, works best, but I suppose if you have extra oily skin, the regular thickness Zig-Zags would help more, having more absorbing room. These are very very affordable at about $3-5 for 100 sheets at almost any convenience or smoke shop around. Don't be afraid to use more more than one of these at once on your oily spots as they are very cheap and ever so slightly less effective then the Lise Watier ones.

But be warned that if someone spots these in your make-up bag and you doesn't have a chance to explain that they are actually for your face, you may have some awkward situations on your hands.

Enjoy Folks!
